History
Origami’s history is largely debatable, and closely tied to the first existence of paper. Whether this may have been in China (by a man named Cai Lun in 105 AD), or earlier, the very first evidence of origami appears to have to come from Japanese folk, in the 6th century.
Considered to have been after Dyoko introduced paper to his fellow monks, origami, as an art form, is believed to have begun in Japanese monasteries, and then later spread to the main country, and the world.
